June 7. Today, KA BEL is still in prison. He was charged by a cowardly government of rebellion. A case fabricated by a repressive and irresponsible regime of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
We (migrant filipinos in Switzerland) are remembering his warm visit last year. We met Ka BEL last year on the same month of June. He attended a conference with International Labour Organisation with other congress delegates. In spite of his hectic schedule and poor health, he find time to be with us, speak about our situations and his plans in congress to protect our migrants rights and welfare.
We thought of putting up the weblog to dedicate a space for a true and genuine leader of the basic masses, Crispin 'Ka Bel' BELTRAN. We hope and we will campaign for his freedom.
